The honest answer is a range, because tire size and tire tier move the number more than anything else. Here is what a full set of four typically runs installed, across the market:
- Economy tires on a sedan or small SUV: roughly $400 to $600 out the door
- Mid-tier brands on most cars and crossovers: roughly $600 to $900
- Trucks and full-size SUVs: roughly $800 to $1,400, mostly because the tires are physically bigger
- Performance, off-road and specialty sizes: above that, sometimes well above

01 What "installed" should include
An out-the-door price should cover mounting, balancing, new valve stems, resetting the tire pressure monitoring system, and disposal of the old tires. If a price sounds unusually low, one or more of those is usually waiting for you as a line item at the counter. When you compare two shops, compare the out-the-door number, not the per-tire sticker.
02 Why the same size can cost double
Two tires in the identical size can be priced $80 apart because of tread-life warranty (a 40,000-mile tire and a 70,000-mile tire are different products), speed rating, wet-grip performance, and brand. None of that is trickery, it is genuinely different rubber. The right pick depends on how many miles a year you drive and what the vehicle does for a living.

How long does a full set take to install?

Do I need an alignment with new tires?
Not automatically, but if the old set wore unevenly or the vehicle pulls, an alignment protects the money you just spent. We check wear patterns when the old tires come off and tell you what we see.
Can I replace just two tires instead of four?
Often yes, if the other two have healthy, even tread. The new pair generally goes on the rear for stability. Bring it by and we will measure what is left on the old ones.
